Solar panels in place for installation following the first day of construction at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Long Beach.

This week, the Sunistics installation team got to work at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Long Beach.

The solar project, in conjunction with a robust energy management program, will save Pastors Rob and Adele Langworthy almost $900,000 in electricity costs over the next 25 years.

It's a particularly pleasing project for us at Sunistics as the children and young people who attend the church's youth program, Rising Tide, will be the main benefactors of the lower charges.

Rising Tide at the church's Marguerite Kiefer Education Center does fantastic works to empower children and youth of low income, multicultural families of the greater Long Beach area through academic support, tutoring, mentoring, cultural enrichment, arts, sports, supervised recreation, and other after school programs.

We will post more information on this wonderful organization during the development of this project and anyone in the greater Long Beach area who wants to get involved can contact the team at:
